Helping fund the new Oak Cancer Centre
The money raised will go towards the Charity’s Oak Cancer Centre Appeal. The Oak Cancer Centre will be a state-of-the-art treatment and research facility at The Royal Marsden’s Sutton site and will speed up the development of ground-breaking research and transform lives.
The new centre will bring researchers, clinical staff and thousands of patients together under one roof, ensuring The Royal Marsden can continue to advance treatments for the benefit of cancer patients worldwide.
"We believe that the new Oak Cancer Centre at The Royal Marsden has the potential to fundamentally transform cancer treatment and diagnosis worldwide and are truly honoured to have the support of some of the world’s leading artists to shine a light on this vital fundraising project."
Mandie Adams McGuire MBE, Chair of The David Adams Leukaemia Appeal Fund
Who is running the auction?
The David Adams Leukaemia Appeal Fund was set up in memory of the late David Adams, who was treated at The Royal Marsden for two years after being diagnosed with leukaemia. During this time, he raised thousands of pounds towards the Charity’s work, and his efforts have been continued by his friends and family.
