Professor Susanne Cruickshank

"Our research focuses entirely on patients. We explore how people experience cancer, how they respond, how they recover, and the development of interventions to aid that recovery.”

 - Professor Cruickshank, Strategic Lead for Applied Health Research.

More than half of patients are now surviving cancer for a decade or longer, benefiting from the latest research breakthroughs. But the effects of treatment can significantly impact patients’ quality of life in the months or years that follow.

Your gift today will support The Applied Health Research team who are conducting vital research to tackle the long-term physical and psychological consequences of cancer treatment.

We need your help to fund their important research which will improve the quality of life of cancer patients at The Royal Marsden and beyond, both during and after their treatment.
