The difference you make
Diego and Emily took on the challenge in memory of Diego's mum. They shared with us what it feels like to take on a challenge for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity:
"Running the Bournemouth Half Marathon meant so much for both of us. During Diego's mum's time at The Royal Marsden, the compassion and dedication of the staff left a lasting impression. We wanted to do something to give back and to say thank you.
The half marathon was definitely a challenge, and one that we won't forget! We were hugely motivated by unwavering support from friends, family, and the incredible crowd of spectators and volunteers on race day. We're thrilled to have completed the run, profoundly grateful for everyone's support, and hopeful that the donations we raised can make a difference in another person's fight against cancer, just as it did for Ana."
Thanks to our supporters we can continue to be there for everyone who needs us. Sign up now to join Team Marsden!
