Great challenges need great settings, and none are better than this stunning coastal path. And you have the choice how to take it on – walking, running or jogging the route. Or maybe a mixture of all three!
Do the Isle of Wight Challenge your way
Whether you walk, run or jog or choose to do a mixture of all three, do it as an individual or as part of a team, you will be joining 2,000 other adventurers along one of Britain's most spectacular coastal paths. This is a much loved trek as the gorgeous views and the event camaraderie never lets up.

Full challenge
Circumnavigate the whole island, passing the famous Needles, to Cowes at half way, then around back to base camp after a spectacular 106km journey with full support and great hospitality all the way. Get training now!

Three-quarter challenge
An 82km journey from Chale to Culver Down, for those wanting a bigger challenge without committing to the full route. Follow the fantastic coastline of the southern section of the island and finish with stunning views over Sandown. You can take on a continuous challenge, or rest overnight in Cowes and complete the challenge over two days.

Fundraising target: £450
Half challenge
You can take on the first half of the full route, passing the famous Needles, and culminating at Cowes after a spectacular 53 km journey with full support and great hospitality all the way. Or you can tackle the second half of the route (it helps those flagging during the second half of the full challenge to have fresh blood on board!)

Quarter challenge
You can go with the crowds starting out in the picturesque village of Chale and culminating in a glorious finish at the island's famous Needles rising out of the sea to greet you at the end of your 25 km walk. Alternatively, you can have the thrill of the finish line by doing the fourth quarter. Both options are especially good for runners.
